IOWA CITY HOUSE
A full remodel of a beautiful old house in our clients’ home town of Iowa City. This small city is home to the famed Iowa Writers Workshop as well as Prairie Lights - one of the best independently owned bookstores in the country. In addition to its deep literary roots it is also home to iconic American painter Grant Wood. It is a small midwestern city with a quiet beautiful intellectual charm and we strove to reflect that in this remodel, which celebrates the vintage of the house as well as the greater context of the city in which it stands.
